About
Hi, I'm Krysten!
I started my professional journey with animals by volunteering at a wildlife rehabilitation center when I was in high school. It was such a rewarding experience that I knew I wanted to keep working with animals. In college I worked at my first dog daycare and began observing and studying the intricacies of dog behavior and their interactions. I became intrigued by dog psychology and wanted to learn more. After college I worked at and managed several more dog daycares, was trained as a veterinary assistant, and completed a dog training apprenticeship with Cooper's Dog Training and Behavior Modification in Portland, where I helped train individual dogs with a variety of issues and lead group classes. I have also been dog-sitting for many years and have been hired as a trainer by several of my clients. Dogs are my love and passion and I want to help everyone communicate more effectively with their precious pooches to help create a more understanding and successful relationship! |

Allie M. - "My experience with Krysten was nothing short of a miracle! Her calm demeanor with my reactive border collie was exactly what he needed to overcome his fears. I would definitely recommend Krysten for any of your dog training needs." Sabrina R. - "Krysten has really proven to have great skills as a dog trainer. She has worked with our dogs since they were puppies. She has taught them many commands and behaviors that have really stuck. She has also helped us as owners on how to reinforce those commands and behaviors. We recommend Krysten highly." See more reviews here |
